Every November, the Junior League of Northern Virginia (JLNV) hosts its magical weekend-long fundraiser, The Enchanted Forest. Now in its 15th year, The Enchanted Forest is a holiday festival featuring a wide variety of affordable events for the entire family. Some of its main attractions include a beautiful ‘forest’ of 120 theme-decorated trees for silent auction, a gingerbread house workshop, arts and crafts, holiday shopping, children’s performers and photos with Santa. In addition, National Capital Trackers will be onsite with a model train set, the Junior League’s Kids in the Kitchen will be teaching children healthy eating habits and the Children’s Science Center will be doing fun and exciting experiments with the children.
All this will be taking place at the Westin in Tysons Corner on November 21 and 22. Proceeds from the weekend support the JLNV’s community programs, which promote healthy eating and active living by empowering families to make healthier choices through nutrition and physical activity education. You don’t want to miss this event!
Online ticket sales are now closed but general admission and select premium event tickets are available for purchase at the door. The “forest” opens Saturday at 10 a.m.!
