Junior League of Northern Virginia Accepting Applications for 2022-2023 Community Grants Program

MCLEAN, VA (October 7, 2021) – The Junior League of Northern Virginia (JLNV) announces that it is now accepting applications from Northern Virginia-based community organizations as part of its Community Grants Program. The application process is open through December 3, 2021.

The JLNV invites interested organizations to submit a grant application that highlights an innovative program or project that support JLNV’s focus areas helping address childhood obesity through nutrition education, physical activity, and access to healthy food options. Applicants will need to outline how allotted funds will be used and how JLNV’s volunteers will support their efforts.

For more than 60 years, JLNV has been investing in the community by providing grant funding to trusted community partners. The JLNV supports cutting-edge projects or programs that will measurably improve the lives of children in the Northern Virginia community by empowering them to make healthy food and lifestyle choices to reduce childhood obesity and its associated health issues.
