JUNIOR LEAGUE OF NORTHERN VIRGINIA (JLNV) AWARDED GRANT FROM WALMART’S SPARK FOR GOOD PROGRAM TO ENRICH LOCAL COMMUNITIES

Fairfax, Virginia, Jan. 2, 2024 – The Junior League of Northern Virginia is proud to announce a $1,000 grant award from Walmart’s Spark for Good Program.

Walmart’s Spark for Good Program seeks to uplift and strengthen communities by providing vital resources to organizations like JLNV, aligning with their shared vision of catalyzing positive change within local neighborhoods. This grant will equip JLNV to expand its outreach efforts and drive forward its mission to empower local women in the northern Virginia community.

“We are thrilled and deeply grateful for the support from Walmart’s Spark for Good Program, specifically, to the local facility team at the Vienna Walmart on Cornerstone who made this grant possible for us,” JLNV President Michelle Freeman said. “As we seek to amplify our efforts in the year ahead, we hope this is only the beginning of new partnerships to come.”
