A Celebration that Bleeds Purpose & Style
Celebrate purposefully (and stylishly!) with us on May 28, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at Ms. Moxie’s Moon Shop (102 N Fayette St, Alexandria, Va.) as we honor Menstrual Health Day – a global movement to raise awareness about menstrual hygiene, promote equitable access to period products, and break the stigma around menstruation.
This isn’t just advocacy – it’s a full-on celebration!
Enjoy an evening of:
Everlasting Bloom Bar – Craft a bouquet that speaks volumes.
Bellacara’s “Pick Your Perfect Red” Pop-Up – Find your perfect lipstick shade, whether it’s a nod to JLNV’s bold logo red or a symbolic crimson.
Raffles – Score goodies donated by local businesses when you donate period products (the more you give, the better your odds!).
Period Pain Simulator – Bring your non-menstruating friends or challenge fellow attendees in a fun, cringe-worthy competition.
Shopping, Sips & Sweets – Sip, snack, and shop while supporting a powerful cause.
All period products purchased or donated at the event will directly support the JLNV Period Pantries, helping us fight period poverty locally.
This is your chance to make a difference and have a blast doing it.
This is a wonderful opportunity to support menstrual health and meet the ladies of the Junior League of Northern Virginia. This event will provide an opportunity to purchase period products that will directly benefit JLNV Period Pantries. It’s a day of fun, shopping and giving back.
