THE JUNIOR LEAGUE OF NORTHERN VIRGINIA ANNOUNCES 2026–2027 BOARD OF DIRECTORs

Fairfax, VA (June 1, 2026) – The Junior League of Northern Virginia (JLNV) today announced its Board of Directors for the 2026–2027 League Year. The incoming Board brings together a group of leaders guiding the organization’s mission of advancing women’s leadership through volunteer service, collaboration, and training across Northern Virginia.

This year’s Board will focus on strengthening member leadership development and deepening community partnerships, building capable leaders who make an impact in their professions and throughout Northern Virginia. 

“I have the privilege of serving alongside this dedicated group of women who bring a strong spirit of service, commitment, and leadership,” said Erynn Barfield, 2026–2027 JLNV President. “Leadership development and meaningful connection are at the heart of the League experience. This year, we are focused on creating intentional opportunities for members to grow, build confidence, and deepen their impact within JLNV and in their broader communities.”

Since 1958, JLNV members have contributed hundreds of thousands of volunteer hours and raised more than $2 million to support over 35 community programs. These initiatives address food insecurity, homelessness, STEM education, healthy living for families, period poverty, and access to essential services and professional development opportunities for women and families.

Guided by its Women Helping Women mission, JLNV continues to expand access to essential resources, strengthen community partnerships, and invest in leadership development that empowers both members and the communities they serve.
