Fairfax, VA (July 3, 2024) – The Junior League of Northern Virginia (JLNV) is excited to announce its new 2024-2025 Board of Directors. The Board will lead JLNV’s mission to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration and training. 

The Junior League of Northern Virginia’s Board of Directors leads and advises the League in promoting voluntarism and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Board members represent various membership segments and have devoted numerous years of service and volunteer hours to the Junior League.

“I am very excited and humbled to serve alongside these amazing women. They bring a wide range of skills and perspectives to the table around leadership skill-building, fund development, community partnerships and engagement, communications, and strategic planning, which are all essential for JLNV to meet our ambitious goals,” said Erica Bledsoe, 2024-2025 JLNV President. “Their passion, dedication and unique talents serve as a strong foundation for a successful year ahead,” she added.

Since 1958, JLNV members have raised more than $2 million dollars to implement more than 35 community programs in Northern Virginia. Members have provided hundreds of thousands volunteer hours in support of Northern Virginia nonprofits and have engaged in various community initiatives, from combating homelessness and STEM education to healthy eating and active living initiatives for kids and families to period poverty and providing access to essential services and professional development opportunities for women and families. 

This year, we will continue our focus on Women Helping Women by enhancing access to essential services and professional development for women and families.
