Meet JLNV’s 2016 Woman of Vision

Linda Mathes, Chief Executive Officer, American Red Cross in the National Capital Region, has been selected as JLNV’s 2016 Woman of Vision. Ms. Mathes was recently named in Washingtonian Magazine’s “100 Most Powerful Women” and has received numerous awards and recognitions for her leadership and contributions to the community.

Model Registration for JLNV’s American Girl Fashion Show is online!

The JLNV is now accepting applications for Models and Guest Models for the 2016 American Girl Fashion Show! You can register online or attend one of our model registration events January 30 or February 20 & 27 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the American Girl Store in Tysons Corner.

JLNV President Beatriz Duque Long Receives 40 Under 40 Award

Junior League of Northern Virginia (JLNV) President Beatriz Duque Long was recognized by Leadership Arlington as one of this year’s 40 Under 40 honorees. 40 Under 40 is an initiative that builds social and intellectual capital for the DC metro community among this leadership group as they move into key decision making positions.

Thank you to everyone who donated or passed on our information on Giving Tuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. Our goal was to raise $5,000 to purchase wobble chairs for Mason Crest Elementary, a local Title 1 school. We celebrate the generosity of those who participated.
